Master Grade RX 78-2 Ver.1.5

I built this kit as part of a project to create a diorama of the original three mobile suits from the original anime. There are 3 versions of this model kit and I liked the design of this one the best. I captured the anime style the best and was in line in terns of detail with the other two models that were going to be in the diorama. This is an older kit so some of the parts required a bit more cleanup than usual, but I was able to snag it at the local Hobby Lobby for only 23 bucks. Being an older kit meant there were no water slides out there for it so I had to get creative and use the decals from another version of the RX 78-2 and make them work on this one.

This kit was sanded, pin viced, pre-shaded, panel lined, decaled, and top coated matte.
