I took this trip with my friend Lang. We drove for 15 hours down to Southern California. The competition was very impressive and the vendors and organization were top notch. We met a lot of new people and even some “celebrities” in the modeling scene. In the end I took First place in Dioramas with my Nasa Zaku and also took Best in Show with the same kit, completing my “west coast sweep” challenge I had imposed on myself.
